United Martial Arts Fitness (UMF) was founded in 2005 by Pablo Cardenas with humble beginnings of 30 students. UMF has grown significantly and is now recognised as one of the top Martial Arts Academies in North Queensland with over 160 students.

UMF run 11 different programs for all ages and fitness levels. With a supportive and encouraging environment, you can trust in knowing you’re in safe hands when training with us.

With three dedicated kids classes for ages four to 14- along with tailored adult classes- there’s something for everyone.

We pride ourselves on our training approach which focuses on discipline, self-control and respect. Our kids classes incorporate the UMF Character Development System, engaging the Non-Striking Solutions and the Bully Buster System ™. These systems encourage children to be resilient, confident and to be able to stand up for themselves – skills that come hand in hand with training at UMF.

My daughters go to boxing class once a week. They said it is fun and good for training their muscle strength. One of them has been doing ballet and and contemporary dance . She said boxing training helped her grow resilience and fitness for the dancing.
